What am I up to right now?

9/30/25

I’m about to end my mandatory month off from NCLR, which this fall coincided with G’s first track out from kindergarten. We are both very excited to get back to our regularly scheduled programming.

I have picked up doing social media for NC Literary & Historical Association, which feeds my little state historical soul so much!

I also doing admin and bizdev for the incomparable Mike Wiley Productions. So watch for more on that soon.

Writing a lot, just nothing to share yet!

9/18/24:

I’m currently on my mandatory hiatus from ECU/NCLR. I’m using my month off to finish the actual writing projects I’ve promised my boss: one on “The Native Project” and another on NC theaters adapting NC literature for the stage.

I’ve taken up my theater producer hat again to assist with “Changing Same: The Cold-Blooded Murder of Booker T. Spicely” produced by StreetSigns Center for Performing Literature, among many others. Get your ticket now!

Plus trying to get this new website up and running. And read.

All of which is cut short by parenting responsibilities. And I’m really working hard trying not to complain as much, which is turning out to be more difficult than I thought.
